Taseralik - Kulturhuset Sisimiut, is an architect-designed building of well over 1400 square meters. In the building itself there is a foyer and reception, cafe and along the outside wall of the concert hall up to the level of the 1st floor, there is a bay window. ,

Walls on the outside of the concert hall and foyer are also used for exhibitions.

The concert hall The concert
hall is the culture hall's large hall, which is built up as a kind of amphitheater, ie. one sits on chairs and looks down at the stage that is at floor level. The advantage is that the stage can be expanded or reduced as needed. The downside may be that there is no depth and backstage. But this can be offset by the scenography and backdrop.

Next to the stage there is an artist's wardrobe where performers can change clothes, put on make-up or whatever it is they have to do before they go on stage.

The hall has approx. 258 seats, and the concert hall can accommodate both live music in the form of concerts in many different genres, as well as theater performances, lectures, public meetings, conferences and the like. There are, of course, the necessary sound and light systems for these purposes.

The concert hall is also the culture house's cinema, Taseralik Bio, and has a cinema machine, big screen and sound system for the great movie experience.

Cafe and conference
In the foyer is Café Taseralik with a beautiful view of Scout Lake. Here you can get coffee, tea, cocoa, cakes etc. With exciting lunch dishes you can enjoy the view of nature, both summer and winter, where, among other things. could be outdoor activities in front of the house.

In addition to the foyer, there is a large conference room with space for 100 seated guests. The hall can again be divided into two smaller rooms, so that two different meetings or courses can take place.

Café Taseralik can thereby take on tasks such as dining for conference guests, as well as buffet and dinner events. It is thus an opportunity to combine concerts or performances with exciting food experiences.
